Before we do this, we want to give a quick overview of what exactly a podcast is, in case you aren’t familiar with this revolutionary technology.
What is a podcast?
A podcast is a series of audio or video files available to stream (or play) from a website, or to be downloaded to your computer and/or put on a Mobile device such as a cell phone, iPod or other mp3 player. Think of a podcast as a syndicated radio show of sorts, except without affiliates or time constraints, and you can listen to it when, where and however you want!
A podcast usually contains an RSS feed that provides an enclosure link to each audio file. This RSS feed can be read by an RSS feed reader (also known as an agrigator), but it must be formatted in a certain way to contain the enclosure link of the podcast’s audio files. A podcast’s RSS feed is automaticly updated with the enclosure link and any other text or links each time a new podcast episode is published.
You can subscribe to a podcast in several ways. A podcast-enabled Rss feed reader (or podcatcher) such as iTunes may be used, and you can set your chosen Rss feed reader to automaticly update and even download a new podcast episode each time one is published. The audio file can then be played on your computer using an Mp3 player such as iTunes, Windows Media Player or Winamp. Furthermore, you can “sync” the audio file to a portable player such as a cell phone, iPod or other Mp3 player to listen to any time and anywhere you want!
Podcasting is very convenient with a variety of ways to listen and an equally varied mix of content to enjoy.

Well, we’re so glad you asked! If you happened to automaticly subscribe to the Rss feed on our home page, you may have noticed that your podcast-enabled Rss feed reader did not see the audio enclosures. This is because WordPress is normally meant as a blogging service, rather than a podcast hosting service. Therefore, we have created an Rss feed via Feedburner, so that Rss feed readers will properly see the audio enclosure link.
